Bollywood power couple Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan are gearing up for an onscreen reunion after more than a decade. The couple, celebrating 11 years of marriage, last shared the screen in the 2012 movie Agent Vinod.

In a recent interview, Saif Ali Khan spilled the beans on their upcoming project, hinting at a film that not only acknowledges their real-life marriage but promises a unique on-screen chemistry.

Kareena Kapoor Khan and Saif Ali Khan’s onscreen journey began with the film Tashan, followed by collaborations in Kurbaan and Agent Vinod. While their chemistry was undeniable, the box-office numbers influenced Saif’s reluctance to work together. Kareena candidly shared, “Earlier he would be like ‘no, no, it’s not good to work… it’s not interesting and we shouldn’t work together’. Now we have liked something together so let’s hope things work out.”

Therefore, the couple is now in the process of finalizing a project. Saif mentioned, “We are actually working on something and trying to come up with a… something that takes into account that we are married, so play against that a little bit. It is a work in progress.”

Furthermore, Kareena Kapoor Khan expressed her enthusiasm for the upcoming project. Emphasizing that it would be “fun” to work together “at this stage” of their lives as actors. She clarified, “Like when we are comfortable as actors also and do something different.” However, Saif humorously added a twist, suggesting they might not share the same living space during the shoot.

Now, fans will have to wait for the duo to come back on screen soon. Before that, the pair have been helping each other out behind the scenes. Kareena Kapoor Khan revealed Saif helped her with certain comedy scenes in her upcoming movie The Crew.
