Body Language Experts Claim These ‘Statement Gestures’ Prove Where Prince William & Kate Middleton's Relationship Stands

It seems Prince William and Kate Middleton’s outing soon after the news of Omid Scobie’s book Endgame came out was more telling than people may have initially realized. While almost all eyes were on Kate’s shocking blue gown that was dubbed her “revenge dress,” body language experts noticed something had changed between William and Kate.

Body language expert Judi James told the Mirror that William was extra protective of Kate that evening, and his body language told the tale.

“William was more tactile than ever before here, holding his hand out to Kate in a gesture of loving support, which she took with a long gaze and a hand that carefully displayed Diana’s engagement ring,” she said. “William also looks determined to make statement gestures here.”

“His body language towards his wife looks tactile and protective. He is at his romantic best here, stretching one hand out to take Kate’s and then leading her in as though presenting her proudly to the watching world,” she added. “Their eye contact was more sustained and meaningful than we have seen from them before and Kate’s smile moves from her usual pitch-perfect social smile to a much warmer, open-mouthed smile of delight.”

While the Prince and Princess of Wales are no strangers to subtle PDA, many experts have agreed that their latest outing truly showed a united front together.
