More than a month after Chris Pratt, 39, and Katherine Schwarzenegger, 28, were photographed enjoying a picnic together, the two have moved on to dessert. They took Pratt’s 5-year-old son, Jack, to scoop up ice cream, reportedly following a church service Sunday in Los Angeles.

At first glance, the latest pics, first posted by TMZ, simply show an attractive young couple on a routine outing. But because Pratt was one half of the most heartbreaking celeb split in recent times — the great breakup of Chris Pratt and actress Anna Faris back in August 2017 — all eyes are peeled for clues about the budding relationship.

Body language expert Toni Coleman examined the photos and noticed a few more things going on between the Guardians of the Galaxy star and Schwarzenegger, the daughter of actor turned politician Arnold Schwarzenegger and journalist-author Maria Shriver. She began by sizing up their level of comfort around one another, at least when they’re in public.

“Katherine appears to be more comfortable and into Chris and into this outing than he is,” Coleman tells Yahoo Entertainment. “In the first picture, they are both focused on and showing concern for what Jack is doing. Both have one slightly raised hand, ready to offer an assist if needed. So this picture shows them to be in sync but with their focus on Jack.”

In another photo, maybe Pratt just didn’t feel like being photographed, but, for whatever reason, Coleman notes that he seems more reluctant than Schwarzenegger to smooch.

“Chris is standing with his hands at his side and offering a closed-mouth kiss,” Coleman assesses. “Katherine has one arm wrapped around him and appears to be on tiptoe, seeking and initiating the kiss. Chris’s forehead is wrinkled, indicating discomfort and concern, whereas Katherine appears all in and into him. It is possible that were it just the two of them, Chris would be more relaxed and into Katherine, but here he is showing hesitation and discomfort with PDA.”

Just by looking at the latest images of the two together, Coleman reads a couple other things from Pratt’s and Schwarzenegger’s body language.

“Katherine is more into Chris than he is into her,” Coleman says.

She adds that the two, who reportedly were introduced by Shriver, are also clearly “more comfortable going out together at this stage as a family unit.”

Schwarzenegger looks to have already taken to hanging out with adorable Jack.

“She appears to show interest, concern, and a willingness to offer a hand,” Coleman says.

Pratt and Faris have not yet finalized their divorce, but both have moved on. While Pratt is seeing Schwarzenegger, Faris’s new love is cinematographer Michael Barrett, whom she’s vacationed with a few times. In December, the Daily Mail published photos of her and Jack with Barrett and his young son.

“Divorce sucks,” Pratt told Entertainment Weekly in April. “But at the end of the day, we’ve got a great kid who’s got two parents who love him very much. And we’re finding a way to navigate this while still remaining friends and still being kind to one another. It’s not ideal, but yeah, I think both of us are actually probably doing better.”

And new love Schwarzenegger obviously agrees that Jack is pretty great.
