Don't plan on snapping photos or recording videos of Bob Dylan's Rough and Rowdy Ways Tour concert on Saturday at the Akron Civic Theatre.

It's a phone-free experience.

This is the latest concert that prohibits the use of phones, smart watches and accessories during performances.

The Yondr website explains that concert-goers will need to secure their electronic devices in individual Yondr pouches that can be opened when Dylan exits the stage.

How does Yondr work?

Yondr is a small grey and green bag used to store a phone during an event, according to the Yondr website. It is issued by organizers and artists who prohibit the use of cellphones, smart watches, cameras or recording devices at their events.

The Akron Public School District uses the same system for students at its secondary schools.

Arriving in the phone-free space, any such devices will be placed in a pouch and sealed. Everyone will keep their devices on their person, according to the Akron Civic Theatre website.

Phones can be used outside of the prohibited area by tapping the bag on an unlocking base, the Yondr website explains. Upon returning to the phone-free zone, the pouch must be resealed.

Those with mobile tickets will be able to scan their tickets before sealing away their phones.
