Bob Dylan is headed back to Missouri.

The 82-year-old rock 'n' roll bard will criss-cross the country — and Canada — this fall, and opens with three dates in the Show Me State.

Dylan will play two nights, Oct. 1-2, at Kansas City's Midland Theatre. He follows that up with an Oct. 4 show at the Stifel Theatre in St. Louis.

The shows, as Pitchfork notes, support his "Rough and Rowdy Ways" record, which dropped back in 2020; the tour began in late 2021. Featuring more than 70 minutes of new music — including the nearly 17-minute first single "Murder Most Foul" — the record landed on a number of best-of-year lists.

AllMusic's Thom Jurek compared the record to "transformational" Dylan efforts such as "Love and Theft" and "Slow Train Coming."

"It's a portrait of the artist in winter who remains vital and enigmatic. ... Dylan's pen and guitar case still hold plenty of magic," Jurek wrote.

Tickets for the Midland shows in Kansas City range from $52.50 to $132.50; prices for the Stifel in St. Louis run from $66.50 to $142.
