'Bluey's Big Play' brings the beloved children's show to Phoenix. Here's how to see it

Bluey and Bingo are coming to the desert. A theatrical adaptation of the hit kids television show, "Bluey's Big Play" is will be at the Arizona Financial Theatre on Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 17 and 18. This live stage performance will bring the beloved characters, Bluey and Bingo, to life in a vibrant and educational production.

The popular Australian children's TV series was created in 2018 and revolves around Bluey, a 6-year-old blue heeler puppy, and her family, including her father Bandit, mother Chilli and younger sister, Bingo. The play is centered around Bluey and Bingo's efforts to distract their dad from his leisurely activities on a Sunday afternoon. The story addresses themes of family dynamics and responsibilities.

"Bluey's Big Play" is part of a larger tour of stages across the country, offering fans the opportunity to experience the Emmy award-winning show in a new and interactive format. The play features colorful sets, imaginative puppetry and original songs created specifically for this theatrical adaptation. The audio track for "Bluey's Big Play" is prerecorded by the voice actors from Bluey.

For those interested in catching the show in Phoenix, performances are scheduled for Feb. 17 and 18 at the Arizona Financial Theatre. Showtimes are 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. on Sunday.
