Steve Burns is finally cluing fans in on why he left "Blues Clues." On Wednesday, the original host of the show's first four seasons shared a message with fans on Nick Jr.'s social media accounts, acknowledging that his departure from the series was very abrupt. Steven explains that he left the beloved 90's show to go to college, where he was able to challenge himself and use his mind. The video was posted in honor of the show's 25th anniversary. The first episode titled "Snack Time" aired on Sept. 8, 1996. Before signing off Steve hit fans right in the feels with a sweet message. "I guess I just wanted to say that after all these years, I never forgot you. Ever. And I'm super glad we're still friends," Steve said.
