SOMERSET ― The 15th annual Laurel Hill Bluegrass Festival is Aug. 19-20 at Laurel Hill State Park.

The festival includes a re-enactors village, food vendors, local artisan vendors, children’s activities and bluegrass music. The Friends of Laurel Hill sponsor the event. Admission is free. Many local businesses and organizations lend financial support to the festival to continue to keep this fun, free event open to all.

This year the park will not be providing a large tent and chairs for visitors to use. Festival participants can set up an individual pop-up canopy for shade and comfort. Bring chairs and or blankets.

The Mountain Laurel 5K starts at 8:30 a.m. Sunday. This 5K course is unique. It offers some of the most magnificent scenery in a 5K race. Register for this race as a walker or runner.
