Blueface Headed to Trial Over Assault With Deadly Weapon Charge

Blueface is preparing to face a jury trial next month for his arrest over charges of suspicion of assault with a deadly weapon.

Blueface was detained back on Nov. 16, 2018 following an incident on the freeway near Los Angeles, where he was allegedly involved in vehicle-to-vehicle gunfire.

Before the shootout, Blueface, real name Johnathan Porter, was reportedly the victim of a robbery attempt at a gas station in nearby Newhall, CA.

The trouble followed Blueface in 2019 as he was arrested in downtown L.A. as the rapper’s entourage attempted to ditch weapons when police arrived at the scene.

According to Complex, Blueface was sitting in his car alone when police arrived and he was arrested with two additional men. He was eventually charged with felony possession of carrying a loaded firearm after the guns that were ditched here found.

That charge carries a possibility of three years in prison.

The trial is set to begin on August 16.

Blueface made headlines last wee when his two girlfriends showed their loyalty to the rapper by getting matching tattoos.

If he ends up getting serious time, they may want to look into tattoo removal.
