Alan Ritchson is apparently game to tackle two roles at once.

A Blue Mountain State sequel series is reportedly being shopped around, with Ritchson — as well as former co-stars Darin Brooks and Chris Romano — set to reprise their roles from the three-seasons-and-a-Kickstarter-movie Spike comedy.

As reported by our sister site Deadline, likely landing spots for the sequel series include Prime Video (where Ritchson headlines the hit drama Reacher, now filming its third season) and Netflix (where BMS in the mid-2010s became a bingeable cult favorite).

When it debuted in January 2010, Blue Mountain State followed three incoming freshman — Brooks’ QB Alex Moran, Romano’s team mascot Sammy Cacciatore and Sam Jones III’s RB Craig Shilo– attending the titular college football powerhouse, where they had to quickly adapt to college life while juggling football, girls and nonstop hazing. Ritchson played linebacker and team captain Kevin “Thad” Devin Castle.

“At Blue Mountain State, the benefits of being a player on one of the most successful football programs in the nation are just too good to pass up… beautiful girls, campus-wide celebrity and wild keg parties make college life a young man’s dream,” reads a synopsis. “The new freshman players on this notorious team are about to learn the extreme highs — as well as the pitfalls — of being one of the chosen few.”

Would you cheer on a Blue Mountain State sequel series? And if it comes to pass, what do you think Thad, Alex and Sammy will be up to some 15 years later?
