Blue Lock chapter 252 recap: Charles Chevalier and Shidou team up

Blue Lock chapter 252 was titled “Best Performance,” and it included some unexpected action. Isagi continued the monologue as he witnessed events happening in front of him. He expressed his pride in Hiori’s game plan wherein he blocked Rin’s shot. Isagi, observing the game’s circumstances, declared that the match was the best one he had ever participated in.

After the ball was in the air, Karasu retrieved it while Isagi, using his meta vision, tried anticipating how the former would play his next shot. Unexpectedly, Karasu passed the ball to Charles Chevalier, whose presence was somehow unnoticed for the longest time in the game. After the ball was under Charles’ possession, Isagi expected him to pass it on to Rin.

However, Charles made a first-touch long pass, and the ball flew through the Bastard Munchen players. Surprisingly, the pass was meant for Shidou, who was not even making eye contact with Charles. It was as though they were communicating telepathically, and they caught everyone off-guard with their teamwork.

Finally, Shidou managed to score a super goal with a diving header. Unlike other chapters, the chapter had no flashback or subtext behind Charles and Shidou’s strategy, so fans believe that they had not planned this move. Thus, it could be two great players playing spontaneously to score the feat.
