'Blue Bloods' Fans Go Crazy After Netflix Pulled This Surprise Move
Die-hard fans of "Blue Bloods" who were looking to catch up with the Reagan family on Netflix were in for quite a shock on Tuesday morning when they realized the series was removed from the streaming platform! Yes, it's true, Netflix removed the past 8 seasons of "Blue Bloods" from their stable of programs, and even though Donnie Wahlberg wasn't the only star purged from the system, fans are extremely upset about being deprived of bingeing on their favorite police show.

People Are Upset
Fans of "Blue Bloods" immediately took to social media to air out their frustrations over Netflix losing the show.
"When you're binging blue bloods and it doesn't play the next episode. Come to find out Netflix got rid of it today. Well screw you Netflix. Thank goodness for Hulu. Now back to my binge using Hulu."
One fan begged, "I resurrected my Twitter just so I could say@netflix put #bluebloods back on! I’m so bummed. I was only on season 3."
Another shocked user commented, "I finally find the a great crime show that’s not bloody and violent and Netflix decides to remove it. I miss Blue Bloods."
Why?!
Netflix licenses its content for use on the streaming platform, and eventually, those licenses expire. They explain the process for removing/adding content on their website:
"Netflix licenses TV shows and movies from studios and content providers around the world, and those licenses can expire if we don't renew them. Though we strive to keep the content you want to see, we acquire licensing rights for TV shows and movies for a certain period of time - not indefinitely - so some titles do leave Netflix. If a TV show or movie you love is leaving, it indicates that our licensing agreement with the content provider is about to end."
Where to Go Now
Even though Netflix has dropped "Blue Bloods," all hope is not lost for the true fans, because there are other options.
First, CBS All Access also has all previous nine seasons of "Blue Bloods" available to stream, and they also have the episodes from Season 10 that have aired so far.
Hulu also has the previous nine seasons, all 199 episodes, available on their streaming platform for customers to binge.
Finally, those with an Amazon Prime account have access to the first 6 Seasons of Tom Selleck's glorious mustache.
Fans Are Flocking
Once word got out that there are other options available to catch up on "Blue Bloods," fans have been able to breathe a sigh of relief ... and many are dumping their Netflix accounts.
"Netflix cut Blue Bloods at the end of October. Well thank goodness Hulu has it as I was trying to get caught up," one Twitter user wrote.
Another added, "I’ve been waiting for Blue Bloods Season 9 to come out on Netflix for months and I just realized it’s been on Hulu this entire time."
