'Blue Bloods' Fans Go Crazy After Marisa Ramirez Shares Never-Before-Seen Photo of Donnie Wahlberg

• Marisa Ramirez, who stars alongside Wahlberg on Blue Bloods, posted on social media in his honor.

Donnie Wahlberg celebrated his birthday as so many do — at work.

While the 52-year-old actor was on set on his big day, his co-star and partner, Marisa Ramirez, who plays Maria Baez on Blue Bloods, threw him a little party to celebrate.

“Happy Birthday to my partner in fighting crime @donniewahlberg,” she captioned an Instagram post of the on-set party, in which she and Donnie are wearing matching masks. “Grateful everyday for you and your light! Sorry we are working but at least we are laughing!!! Love you my friend!!”

While Donnie and Marisa are just friends in real life, Blue Bloods fans are practically begging the show’s creators for the partners to get together on the show. And, despite there already being claims that no such thing will happen, fans couldn’t help but swoon over Marisa’s post for Donnie.

“Is that a hint @donninewahlberg about you and Baez?!?” one fan exclaimed, with a surprised emoji. “Love this pic! So happy to see you guys together again,” another fan wrote. “So sweet. May Danny and Maria will hit it off on season 12 of Blue Bloods,” another fan hoped. “You two are the best! Would love to see you both as a couple,” someone else chimed in.

And the comments just kept trickling in, with about a million hearts among them. Here’s hoping maybe the Blue Bloods creators can take a hint and make one fan base very happy.
