Blossom Music Center to require concertgoers to reserve lawn chairs, no longer bring own

Blossom Music Center posted Thursday on X, formerly Twitter, that concertgoers can no longer bring personal lawn chairs for Live Nation shows.

Concertgoers will be required to reserve lawn chairs through the venue ahead of time and pick them up on the day of the show. The policy will not be applied to Cleveland Orchestra performances.

On X, Blossom said the new policy was put in place in order to "improve venue entry and for security purposes."

The venue's website has not yet reflected the change in the new policy under its rules page. It still reads that personal lawn chairs are allowed and cannot be taller than 9 inches off the ground. If someone's chair doesn't meet the requirements, there are ones available for rent for $5.

It's unclear if there will be a cost associated with the new lawn chair reservation policy.
