Bloody Injury on ‘Dancing With the Stars’
On Monday’s Dancing With the Stars, Boyz II Men’s Wanya Morris hoped to see himself at the top of the leaderboard with his partner Lindsay Arnold, but an injury threatened to derail them. In rehearsal, Morris accidentally hit his pro dance partner in the lip with his elbow. Arnold stumbled back and revealed a bloody mouth. It seemed that she had bitten all the way through her lip. She said, “We got a battle wound but you know what? I’m proud of it. It means Wanya’s dancing hard.” After an ice pack, the pair resumed their rehearsal.
However, the dance partners endured another mishap. Morris and Arnold danced a Western-themed routine, complete with prop bandanas. One of the bandanas fell to the floor, and Morris slipped on it. He quickly regained his footing, but his dancing suffered as he struggled to pick up his steps.
Lindsay Arnold’s lip didn’t appear to bother her during the live performance and Morris laughed off his bandana mishap.
Dancing With the Stars airs Mondays at 8 p.m. on ABC.
