Created by Charley and Vlas Parlapanides, Blood of Zeus is an animated epic fantasy series streaming on Netflix. It heavily draws from Greek mythology and revolves around Heron, the demigod of Zeus, as he becomes involved in a cosmic struggle to determine the fate of the world. Season 1 premiered on October 27, 2020, and season 2 on May 10, 2024. If you want to know whether there will be a third season of Blood of Zeus, this is what we have learned.

Is there a Blood of Zeus Season 3 release date?

Blood of Zeus Season 3 does not have an official release date, but it will likely be announced in the future.

As of May 2024, Netflix hasn’t officially renewed Blood of Zeus for the third season. However, series creators Charley and Vlas Parlapanides told Inverse in October 2020 that they had plans to tell the story in five seasons. “We’ve planned out what we would hope to be a five-season arc,” Charley explained. “It all depends on whether we get viewership [that will decide if] we get a second season.”

So, if season 2 manages to replicate the success of the inaugural season, Blood of Zeus can return with a third season.

The voice cast of Blood of Zeus includes Derek Phillips as Heron, Jason O’Mara as Zeus/Elias, Claudia Christian as Hera, and Jessica Henwick as Alexia.

Where is Blood of Zeus Season 3 coming out?

Blood of Zeus Season 3 could come out on Netflix.

This is because the previous two seasons of Blood of Zeus debuted on the same platform. ComingSoon will provide an update if and when Netflix greenlights the third season of the animated series.
