Blondie unveiled a new video for “

Fun

,” the ’70s-tinged groove and first single off their forthcoming album, Wednesday morning, and the clip is a psychedelic trip through space.

As Debbie Harry sings the song, a futuristic astronaut takes flight through space, making a stop in an ethereal desert along the way.

“Always a pleasure to work with Dikayl, a director who knows what he wants and how to get it,” Harry said in a statement. “He’s got a great list of credits and I’m glad Blondie has had the chance to work with him.”

Added Stein, the video is “fun, the final frontier.”

“Fun,” released Feb. 1, was the first track to debut off of

Pollinator

, out May 5. The tune was written by TV on the Radio’s Dave Sitek and was produced by Grammy winner John Congleton, who has previously worked with St. Vincent, Sleater-Kinney, and Sigur Ros.
