Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed Adopt a Horse
Things seem to be getting serious between Ian Somerhalder and Nikki Reed.
The Vampire Diaries hunk and Twilight alum recently got an animal together (albeit a rather unconventional one)… they adopted a horse.
"Proud new dad... What amazing creatures they are," Somerhalder, 35, captioned the above photo on Instagram. "Wow. His name is Eagle. Thank you @iamnikkireed for snapping this special moment, with our big baby boy."
Reed, 26, was first photographed cozying up to Nina Dobrev's ex at the Farmers Market in Studio City, California, last month. The new couple has been practically inseparable ever since.
Ian and Nikki were spotted getting hot and heavy at a Comic-Con party in San Diego in late July. Meanwhile, Dobrev, 25, was not exactly hurting for any male attention at a bash a few blocks over.
Nina and Ian broke up in May 2013 after more than three years of dating.
Reed separated from her husband of almost three years, Paul McDonald, 29, in March. The actress filed for divorce two months later citing irreconcilable differences. In between her American Idol ex-hubby and new flame, Reed was briefly linked to Derek Hough. Ironically, Nina also dated the Dancing With the Stars pro after breaking up with Ian.
