A behind-the-scenes look at the Boise Fry Company — On the Road
As On the Road made its way to Idaho, where potato is king, Chow Ciao host Fabio Viviani stopped in Boise to master the art of making the perfect fry.
The man to show him how: Boise Fry Company co-owner Blake Lingle, who walked Chef Fabio through the five steps of French-frying a potato, ending with a fry-flavoring competition, for which Lingle clearly holds the home-field advantage.
Fun fact: At the Boise Fry Company, the purple taters are the most popular menu item.
This was one of the tastier stops for Yahoo's concert tour On the Road. The show moves on to Europe. Keep up with event details and more .
