Watch Out, 'Dancing With the Stars' – 'Idol' Castoff Dexter Roberts Is Coming for You

"American Idol" contestant Dexter Roberts may have been eliminated from the competition before making it to the Top 6, but he's not worried. If singing doesn't work out, he could have a promising career in the ballroom.

The Alabama native revealed to Yahoo TV that he's secretly a skilled swing dancer. Need proof? He took me for a spin around the Yahoo office and showed off his smooth moves, dipping, twisting, and turning me around. Naturally, we captured it all on video.

While Roberts didn't express any interest in joining "Dancing With the Stars," the 22-year-old performer did say he wouldn't mind having his own hunting show or making a guest appearance on "Duck Dynasty."

"I want to have my own hunting show one day. I can hunt everything. Everything beware," Roberts joked. "I would love to go on 'Duck Dynasty.' That would be awesome. I am a big duck hunter. I train labs and I am just a big outdoorsman. I want to have a tour all the way until hunting season starts, then I want to have my hunting show, then after hunting is over, I'll go back to my tour."

But the country crooner, who stole America's heart with his performance of Montgomery Gentry's "Lucky Man," still plans to pursue music first.

"After the tour goes, I'm going to go up to Nashville and try and do that road," he shared. "I want to do the Farm Tour with Luke Bryan. I have been a farmer all my life. I just went to his concert and it was amazing."

And he's got a laundry list of country hit makers he'd love to work with on his album, including Bryan and his "American Idol" judge Harry Connick Jr., as well as Florida Georgia Line, Eric Church, Jimmy Johnson, and Craig Morgan. He also dished that he wouldn't mind experimenting with something more soulful. "I'd like to do a blues thing with Eric Clapton. I would like to play with B.B. King one time."

Roberts, who was known for his sweet demeanor, pranks, and fun banter about training labs and duck hunting, will certainly be missed on "American Idol," but to hold us over until the tour, check out his social interview.
