Could Kim Kardashian be seeing red after Claire Danes wore what looked like a crimson version of Kardashian's wedding dress at the Emmy Awards on Monday? It's not a carbon copy, but it's not exactly an original either.
What they wore:
The Homeland star looked ravishing in a lacy scarlet Givenchy gown with cutout panels at the waist. The dress looked incredible. And incredibly familiar.
No doubt it was love at first sight when the actress set eyes on such a dreamy dress. But compare the frock in white, add a veil and a train, and… here comes bride Kim Kardashian, in what looks to be a similar version at her May 2014 wedding with Kanye West.

How they styled it:
The 35-year-old actress went head-to-toe red — including red lips — and swept her sleek blond locks back away from her face.
Kim K. chose a more fitted version of the dress, added a veil and swoon-worthy train, and styled her hair in long romantic waves.
Givenchy designer Riccardo Tisci, a friend of the reality show star, posted a pic of the 33-year-old three months ago in her dramatic dress for her big day writing,"Final friends fitting #biggestday #kimandkanye #love #paris #couturesalon @kimkardashian@givenchyofficial."
"The dress looked as gorgeous going as coming," gushed People StyleWatch in late May.
The same website was just as complimentary of Danes's dress, calling it "A gorgeous Givenchy number."
The Emmy nominee's dress received raves. Hollywood Life called her outfit a "fabulous frock."
The Daily Mail agreed it was "a stunning Givenchy lace gown."
We have to say the gown is totally gorg' on both. But Mrs. West does get points for choosing it first. And naturally, the drama of her styling was appropriate for the day.
Danes also looked divine, and the rouge shade was certainly the color du jour for the award show attendees.
What do you think? Is Danes a red carpet winner? Or does she lose out to Kim K. for her copycat dress?
