Where We Left Off: With ace detective Jake Peralta out of a job… sort of. Jake intentionally got fired from the NYPD — with Captain Holt's blessing, for once — so he could go undercover and bust up a mob ring. Plus, Jake finally stopped pulling Santiago's pigtails and confessed his true feelings to her. Oh, and after Boyle's engagement fell apart, he ended up in bed with Gina, of all people. So get ready for some major-league awkwardness around the precinct house.

What We Know About Season 2: After a Golden Globe-winning freshman season, Fox's cop comedy is moving to Sunday nights after The Simpsons. Jake's still undercover in the season premiere (hence, the velour tracksuit) and crosses paths with a mob mistress played by SNL alum Jenny Slate. And that's just the start of the guest star parade: Emmy winner Kyra Sedgwick (The Closer) is booked for two episodes as Captain Holt's longtime rival, and Eva Longoria will play a defense attorney who catches Jake's eye in court. Look out, Santiago; you may have some competition.

Our Burning Question: Will the Boyle/Gina tryst blossom into a full-blown office romance? Or will the two co-workers just avoid each other all season long?
