When's It Back? Wednesday, Oct. 8 at 8 p.m. on The CW

Where We Left Off: Admittedly, we had to go back and rewatch the Season 2 finale because all we remembered was Oliver telling Felicity that he loved her… and it being a fake-out. But a bunch of other stuff happened.

The clever "ILY" led to Felicity giving Slade the Mirakuru that led to his and Oliver's final battle and the one-eyed hulk of a man's ultimate defeat. Still, Oliver didn't kill him. He just left him in a subterranean super-max prison on the island on Lian Yu, which, yes, is the island where Oliver was shipwrecked for five years — or so we thought. In the final flashback scene, we see the future superhero leave said island and make for Hong Kong, where he meets Amanda Waller, leader of A.R.G.U.S.

What We Know About Season 3: Superman is coming! Okay, not the actual superhero, but rather Superman Returns's Brandon Routh, who will be playing Ray Palmer, aka The Atom. Thea has a new life, so she needs a new love interest; he'll come in the form of The Carrie Diaries cutie Austin Butler. And from the looks of the promos, Oliver and Felicity are going on a date… just as Oliver's ex, Sara, comes back to Starling City.

Our Burning Question: Are they really going to put Oliver and Felicity together? As excited as we are, it seems a little early in the series. We want them to be endgame material.
