'Wicked Tuna' Season 3 Preview: Hook It, Harpoon It, Repeat [Exclusive Video]

The allure of "Wicked Tuna" is not hard to comprehend. The fishermen do what many people do as a hobby, only they do it with half-ton, man-sized bluefin tuna. It's like if you play flag football on the weekend, then get to sit down and watch it played by Godzilla and King Kong. The stakes are high: It's their job, so if they fail, their family doesn't eat. Plus, there's swearing. Tons and tons of swearing.

This season, the show has Paul Hebert captaining the Wicked Pissah; Hebert was fired by another competitor, Dave Carraro, aboard the Tuna.com. TJ Ott, former mentor of last season's winner, is back, along with Tyler McLaughlin. Dave Marciano's back even though his boat sank at the end of last season. And then there's newcomer "Hollywood" Muniz, who fishes with a helicopter and harpoon.

There are grudges and swearing and $20,000 paydays and swearing and backstabbing and swe— well, they are sailors.

"Wicked Tuna" returns Sunday, Feb. 16 at 9 p.m. on the National Geographic Channel.
