Kris Humphries’ Dad Speaks: ‘How Could Someone Do That?’
Kris Humphries' father is taking Kim Kardashian to task for pulling the plug on their marriage after two months.
"There was never a discussion about it -- it just came out of nowhere and blindsided Kris," William Humphries declares in the latest issue of Life & Style. "How could someone do that? Kris was completely surprised. The news was already published before he found out!"
The New Jersey Net, unemployed due to the NBA lockout, has been hiding from Kris Jenner avoiding the spotlight in his hometown of Chanhassen, Minnesota. "He's hurting, but we're here for him," says Papa Humphries. "It's nice that he's here with family during this time."
Kardashian, meanwhile, is blaming her estranged husband's parents for her decision to file for divorce last week. A source tells TMZ they always "belittled" her and were "nasty" to the entire Kardashian fame cabal.
The 31-year-old reality TV princess flew up North last Saturday to meet with Humphries and the pastor who married them. They reportedly discussed details of their divorce. (She left 24 hours later wearing all black and no makeup, not-so-discreetly signaling her sadness to the world.)
