Eva Longoria’s Restaurant Goes Bankrupt

Not-fun things keep happening to Eva Longoria: First, she files for divorce from Tony Parker; then, her Las Vegas restaurant, Beso, files for bankruptcy after running up some $5.7 million in debt.

E! Online reports that Beso -- which opened with much fanfare two years ago -- went bankrupt in order to restructure the mounting debt.

Here's what went down, according to the Las Vegas Sun: Longoria's company, Beso LLC, filed for Chapter 11, listing assets of $2.5 million; Beso and adjoining nightclub, Eve, apparently had trouble keeping up with the lease while accumulating $76,000 in monthly losses. The company owes $1.8 million to landlord Crystals at Sin City's CityCenter resort complex; and on top of that, it owes a slew of contractors for construction work in addition to some disgruntled investors who are suing Longoria and Co.

What a giant legal mess! On the bright side, Longoria can distract herself with rumored boytoy Eduardo Cruz, musician and member of the world's hottest family.
