Christina Aguilera Buys Home Formerly Occupied by ‘Real Housewife’

Looks like Christina Aguilera's found a new place to call home: The superstar vocalist and former Voice coach has just dropped a cool $10 million on a mansion in Los Angeles's exclusive Mulholland Estates community--where she'll be neighbors with such fellow A-listers as Charlie Sheen and Paris Hilton.

In the story first reported by TMZ, Aguilera's new home features everything one would expect to find in a $10 mil abode: Six bedrooms, nine bathrooms, two bars, a walk-in wine cellar, a screening room, hand-painted mural walls, and a saltwater pool with bathhouse are among the highlights of the beautiful 11,000+ square foot property.

The digs were reportedly rented out last year to recently divorced Real Housewives of Beverly Hills cast member Adrienne Maloof before the listing hit the market. Maloof obviously decided not to purchase the property, but she did allegedly drop $20K in rent every month that she lived in it.

If Aguilera had to follow in the footsteps of a reality diva, Maloof is a good one. The businesswoman is a co-owner of the lucrative Maloof Companies, her ex-husband is plastic surgeon Dr. Paul Nassif, and her late father, George J. Maloof, Sr., was a billionaire.

Aguilera, who previously resided in Beverly Hills in what used to be Sharon and Ozzy Osbourne's lavish abode, reportedly bought the house from the owner of the Detroit Pistons, according to property blog Realestalker.

Calls to the representing agent to confirm were not immediately returned; however, real estate brokerage site Redfin confirmed that the named trust in the sale is "Maxamillion Trust" (Aguilera's son is named Max)--and that the buyer's agent is the same one who sold Aguilera's previous estate.
