Lee DeWyze Gets All Dolled Up for Awesome, Adorable “Fight” Video

Season 9 "American Idol" winner Lee DeWyze once memorably surprised everyone by having a kilt-clad bagpiper join him on live TV. But it turns out that was just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to his creativity — as evidenced by his adorably inventive, doll-tastic new video for "Fight," which he wrote and directed with Nickelodeon graphic artist Andrew Michael Golden.

"When making this video, I wanted something people haven't seen before. I wanted it to be whimsical, heart-warming, funny, and visually exciting," Lee tells Yahoo's Reality Rocks. "The song in itself is an anthem for fighting for whatever it is you believe in, and a song everyone can relate to. I hope everyone gets lost in the music, the lyrics, and the magic of the video."

Whether you're a Lee fan or you voted for Crystal Bowersox that season, or even if you've never seen an episode of "American Idol" in your life, it'll be impossible for you to watch this sweet, charming video and not crack a smile. And if you are familiar with Lee DeWyze, then prepare to be amazed by just how much that little cloth dolly looks like him. It's an uncanny idol of an Idol, for sure.
