Clay Aiken & Santigold Judge Fictional-But-Awesome New Singing Show

Did you think you'd ever see the day when "American Idol's" Clay Aiken, "The X Factor's" Rachel Crow, Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers, and electro-diva Santigold would all share the small screen? No? Well, think again. That day gloriously, bizarrely arrived this week, thanks to the producers of the penultimate episode of NBC's "The Office."
On Thursday night's "Office," Andy Bernard, played by Ed Helms and dressed in grandpa drag, bumrushed the auditions for a singing competition called "America's Next A Capella [sic] Sensation," pushing aside little Rachel Crow to try out with the Cornell University Fight Song and Annie's "You're Never Fully Dressed Without a Smile." Yes, this actually happened.
Andy didn't make it through. And, perhaps more tragically, "America's Next A Capella Sensation" is not a real show. But with rumors flying that the entire "American Idol" judging panel will be replaced next year, maybe Fox should just consider hiring Clay and Santigold, and maybe even this Aaron guy. (Sorry, I don't watch sports.) From the looks of their "Office" cameos, these three would probably do a pretty decent job.
