Native Oklahoman Blake Shelton isn't just giving lip service to the devastation his home state has suffered this week. "The Voice" coach has sprung into action, telling Billboard that he's already organizing a benefit concert for tornado relief.

Shelton, who revealed his plans after Tuesday's "Voice" episode, noted that details are still forthcoming. However, "I'm hoping it will raise a lot of money," he noted. "Obviously it will be televised and will happen really quickly."

He told Billboard he has the ability to "call in some really big favors," while pointing to his fellow "Voice" coach, R&B star Usher.

Shelton addressed the Oklahoma tornado devastation Monday on "The Voice," calling for prayers for the area. On Tuesday, he and wife Miranda Lambert opened "The Voice" with the ballad "Over You" — a song he and Lambert wrote about the death of his older brother.

Shelton said he felt the song was "perfect" for the moment.

Still, "I wish things would've been different and I wouldn't have been thinking about performing a song like that."
