For those music fans who miss a more straight-ahead rock sound, here's a welcome treat. Vertical Horizon, best-known for a string of rock hits in the late '90s and early 2000s, are back -- well, actually never went away! The band released its latest album, Echoes From The Underground, in October and are continuing to make rock fans happy with their signature big and sweeping guitar sound.
We at Yahoo Music are pumped to offer up the first look at Vertical Horizon's video for "Broken Over You," the latest single from the new set. Check it out and let us know what you think: If you like the song, it's available on the band's website for free!
In addition to touring extensively and putting out records on a regular basis, the band's main songwriter, Matt Scannell, has also been keeping busy penning tunes for other artists you may have heard of. Examples include "Wish You Were Here" for the Cassadee Pope fronted band Hey Monday, Daniel Powter's "Come Back Home," and Richard Marx's "When You Loved Me." (Yes, that Richard Marx! The two musicians are actually good friends as well as collaborators.)
Vertical Horizon will be heading out on the road with Tonic and special guests Dishwalla starting in late February. If you'd like to keep up with their schedule, check here.
