It's been three decades since Bryan Adams released his defining album Reckless, an '80s classic which spawned the monster hit singles, "Run To You," "Somebody," "Heaven," "Summer of 69," "One Night Love Affair" and "It's Only Love." To celebrate this special anniversary, the iconic set is being re-released on November 24 with a bevy of special features, including seven previously unreleased tracks.
Yahoo Music is excited to premiere one of the unreleased songs, "Play To Win," which is sure to be a coveted gem for rock fans of all decades.
The making of Reckless was a grueling process in 1984, as Adams details. "By the time I'd finished the album," he noted. "I was completely exhausted. I'd pushed everybody, including myself, very hard. It was almost like I didn't care about any other relationship any more with anybody. I was just going to make the best record I possibly could."
It appears that he did just that. "Reckless was just the right record at the right time," says Adams. "It was just unstoppable."
Adams, who also enjoys a successful photography career, will be playing Europe this month to celebrate the anniversary, and will start Canadian tour dates at the top of 2015. If you'd like to keep up with his schedule, check here.
