Watch out what you post on the Internet, kids, cause your friends are going to see it and probably make fun of you.

At least that's what we can learn from Chris Pratt's now infamous selfie, where the formerly flabby "Parks and Recreation" star shows off his newly found abs and sexy "duck lips."

Pratt's been buffing up for his starring role as Peter Quill/Star-Lord, the leader of a rag-tag team of 31st Century intergalactic tough guys (and gals, and a raccoon) in the upcoming Marvel film "Guardians of the Galaxy."

We caught up with Pratt and co-star Zoe Saldana (Gamora), as they were doing the Marvel press line Saturday at San Diego Comic-Con. We ask Pratt about his revealing selfie in the video above.

"I have the kind of friends that will see that photo and be like, 'Bro, don't make duck lips into the camera, you douche," says Pratt.

Saldana could only see the positive though, admiring Pratt's physical transformation. "I feel like it would be nothing but inspiring, and encouraging, and empowering for people that are struggling with their weight," adds Saldana.

But that doesn't necessarily mean Pratt would recommend such a transformation for everyone. "Don't do it. Unless you have to," jokes Pratt.

Being a super hero doesn't come easy. When Pratt got offered the job, it didn't come without a pretty big caveat. "I got the role like six months ago, and they were like great job, but you're too fat. And I was like, 'alright, I can work on that!' And so luckily they trusted me and got me a personal trailer," Pratt said during Marvel's Hall H panel yesterday at Comic-Con.

Though the film is still in the early stages of shooting, Marvel brought a few minutes of raw footage to screen for fans in Hall H. And if that impressive footage is any indication, Pratt appears to be fitting into the role very nicely, abs and all.

We'll know for sure when "Guardians of the Galaxy" opens August 1, 2014.
