After enticing us with three previews featuring high-stakes outer space peril, Warner Bros. is now giving us an "official" look at what's arguably the must-see film of the fall, Alfonso Cuaron's "Gravity."

The full-length trailer gives us more heart-pounding images of Sandra Bullock floating around in zero gravity chaos as her space shuttle seemingly falls apart around her, her panicked breathing and occasional cries of terror almost drowning out the voice of George Clooney, who's frantically updating Houston on the kind of problem that the crew of the Apollo 13 never dreamed of.

Later, Clooney tries to get Bullock to describe her surroundings so he can get a lock on her position, though the lone astronaut does seem to be drifting in a void, over 300 miles above the surface of the Earth.

The trailer also gives us a little more insight to Bullock's character as she mentions a young daughter who's passed away, as well as images of her out of her spacesuit and inside the shuttle.

"Gravity" was the toast of the Venice Film Festival and the Telluride Film Festival and this weekend will wow audiences in Toronto. Whilst the technical prowess on display is receiving much praise and admiration, Bullock herself is winning raves for her performance in a role that's both physically demanding and emotionally exhausting. As she's several hundred miles above the Earth in "Gravity," she's also light years away from the likes of "Miss Congeniality" and, well, "Speed 2: Cruise Control."

"Gravity" will hit U.S. theaters on October 4.
