Holy steamy affair, Batman!
Fresh off her co-starring stint as one of Robin Thicke's lovely ladies in "Blurred Lines," British-born model-actress Emily Ratajkowski is about to cozy up to Ben Affleck in the hotly anticipated "Gone Girl."
In director David Fincher's adaptation of the bestselling novel by Gillian Flynn, Ratajkowski will play Andie, the beautiful college student and mistress of former journalist Nick Dunne (Affleck), per The Wrap.
It's a red-hot role in a red-hot ensemble. After Nick's wife, Amy (Rosamund Pike), goes missing, Andie teams up with Amy's parents to incriminate Nick in the disappearance. The thriller's cast also includes Carrie Coon as Nick's twin sister, Margo; Tyler Perry as his defense attorney; Neil Patrick Harris as Amy's former boyfriend Desi; and Kim Dickens and Patrick Fugit as the detectives on the case.
Ratajkowski was signed by Ford Models at age 14 and rose to prominence in the fashion world via a series of campaigns and editorials with photographer Tony Duran. As an actress, her roles have been relegated to bit parts: she played Tasha on Nickelodeon's "iCarly" and made a guest appearance on "New Girl." But that was before she scored Internet stardom after appearing topless in Thicke's "Blurred Lines," the song of the summer that has over 174 million YouTube views.
"Gone Girl" commences with production this week in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, with a look toward a possible Christmas 2014 release.
