'Annie' Poster Promises the First Trailer Will Come Out Tomorrow

The trailer comes out tomorrow,
Bet your bottom dollar that tomorrow
There'll be fun...
Can you tell we're excited about premiering the exclusive trailer for the new big-screen version of "Annie"? The modern-day update of the 1977 Broadway musical isn't due in theaters until Christmas time, but we'll have your first look at footage from the film on Wed. at 7:00 pm ET / 4:00 pm PT.
The movie stars Quvenzhané Wallis — the 10-year-old Oscar nominee for 2012's "Beasts of the Southern Wild" — as the plucky little heroine from the "Little Orphan Annie" comic strips. She comes into the life of the rich but isolated Will Stacks (an update on the character of "Daddy Warbucks"), played by Oscar-winner Jamie Foxx. And, of course, she still has to deal with the scheming Miss Hannigan, played by Cameron Diaz.
"Annie" opens nationwide on Dec. 19, but the first trailer is only a day away.
