Getting hit by a flying microphone isn’t something most people would actively wish for... but what if that microphone were being held by Adam Levine?
Frustrated by sound problems at a recent Toronto show, the Maroon 5 frontman chucked his mic to the ground, which then apparently rebounded and smacked one of his biggest fans right in her face.
Afterwards, a contrite Levine pulled his unintended target, Stephanie Green, onstage; where he held her hand, hugged her, and apologized repeatedly.
Green might have a temporary bruise -- but she’s also got the memory of a lifetime. She told City News Toronto, “It’s just literally the best day…My dream come true. I never thought in a million years this would happen to me.”
We don’t know the odds of it happening again (and, what are the odds anyone would call taking a blow to the face a "dream come true"?) but Maroon 5 fans who are so inclined can try their luck on any of the band’s upcoming world tour dates. Just make sure to pack some ice.
