Rihanna got back into the island spirit over the weekend, sporting a barely-there jewel-adorned bikini, red fishnet stockings, and feathered head dress to celebrate her native Barbados' annual Kadooment Day celebration, which marks the end of the sugar harvest season. The 23-year-old pop star, who also serves as the country's tourism ambassador, was snapped shaking her stuff from atop a parade float, much to her hometown fans' delight.
"My home, my country, my people....BARBADOS!!!#1LOVE #SWEETfahDAYS NOTHIN' BETTER!" Rihanna tweeted on Saturday. And she proved it! Even some summer showers that rolled through at one point didn't stop RiRi from partying, as she took to the streets to continue her celebration, and then got a ride on a male reveler's shoulders.
And in breaking hair news, it looks like the beauty,who's been on the road with her "Loud" concert tour this summer, finally ditched those not-so-flattering and artificially bright red tresses she's had for months and went back to a more human shade of brown. Let's hope she doesn't change her mind ...
