It's now officially the holiday season! Mariah Carey, CeeLo Green, and Victoria Justice were among the celebs who performed on this year's "Christmas in Rockefeller Center" special that aired Wednesday on NBC. The singers belted out Christmas tunes (some in taped performances) just before NYC Mayor Michael Bloomberg turned on the more than 30,000 lights that decorated this year's 80-foot-tall spruce, the Associated Press reported.
Carey sang her 1994 song "All I Want for Christmas is You," which has become a holiday favorite. "All I Want For Christmas Is Youuuuuuu! w/ Santa at Christmas Tree Lighting in New York!" she tweeted just before the show.
Green performed tunes from his new holiday album, Magic Moment, including a track that features the Muppets. He also duets with a few humans on the album, including Rod Stewart, who made an appearance at the tree lighting ceremony as well, and Christina Aguilera, his fellow judge on "The Voice."
Fun fact: Rockefeller Center has had a Christmas tree every year since 1933. The event was first televised in 1951.
