Gisele Bundchen hasn't actually announced that she's expecting her second child with husband, pro football player Tom Brady, but the model more or less confirmed the news yesterday when she donned a silver string bikini on a Costa Rican beach, revealing that her usually super-flat abs had indeed been replaced with a burgeoning baby bump. Pregnancy reports had been swirling since for the last couple of months thanks to unnamed sources spilling the beans, pics of the Brazilian beauty donning loose tops, and her recent Brazilian Vogue cover, but these new pics clearly put any doubts to rest.
Bundchen, who shielded herself from the sun with a straw floppy hat, frolicked in the water with her 2-year-old son Benjamin and the family dog Lua, but hubby Brady skipped the day at the beach since he had to report to training camp back in Massachusetts on Wednesday to prepare for the New England Patriots' upcoming fall season.
It appears the 32-year-old feels a bit more comfortable showing off her pregnant body this time around. A few months after Benjamin was born in December 2009, she confessed that she had tried to stay out of the public eye during pregnancy. "I felt like my pregnancy was a sacred moment for me," she explained to Vogue. "I didn't work apart from the contracts I have, and then I only let them use my face."
And the supermodel — who is also stepmother to 4-year-old son Jack, Brady's son with ex-girlfriend Bridget Moynahan — had no problem staying in shape all nine months: "I was mindful about what I ate, and I gained only 30 pounds. I did kung fu up until two weeks before Benjamin was born, and yoga three days a week," she said in the 2010 interview. "I think a lot of people get pregnant and decide they can turn into garbage disposals."
And we know you're not one of those people, Gisele!
