Sporting a trucker hat, stained T-shirt, and some scruff, "Training Day's" Ethan Hawke looked more hobo than Hollywood while attempting to escape the stifling New York heat Wednesday. With temperatures soaring into the 90s, Hawke and his adorable daughter Clementine Jane were spotted at Manhattan's Hudson River trying to catch a cool breeze.
The little cutie, who is Hawke's child by his second wife, Ryan Shawhughes, was decked out in a green and yellow print sundress, pink polka dot hat, and blue sandals. Celebrating her 2nd birthday on July 18, Clementine has two older siblings from her dad's first marriage to Uma Thurman who can help her blow out her candles -- sister, Maya Ray, who turns 12 next month, and brother, Levon Roan, 8.
Hawke and Thurman split in 2004 amid rumors of Hawke's infidelity with Shawhughes, the couple's former nanny. He went on to marry Shawhughes in 2008 just weeks before she gave birth to Clementine.
In a recent interview with People, the former "Reality Bites" star shared that his eldest daughter is turning into quite the babysitter. "Maya is about to be 12, so she's getting pretty good with the baby," he said, adding that juggling work and a family is never easy, even when you're a celeb. "Anybody who is a parent who wants to have a professional life knows that," he admitted "It's a struggle ... always a balance."
