Courteney Cox and her 6-year-old daughter Coco were spotted hanging out at the beach Tuesday on the Caribbean island of St. Barts. It wasn't just a mother-daughter vacation though -- the two were joined by a group of friends including Courteney's "Cougar Town" co-star Josh Hopkins.
Though Courteney and Josh play lovers on screen in their hit sitcom, in real life the two are reportedly just good friends. "The relationship is strictly platonic and they are away with a group of friends on vacation," their rep told People.com.
"They are strictly, strictly platonic," added an UsMagazine.com source of Hopkins and Cox, who has also been linked to her other "Cougar Town" co-star, Brian van Holt. "She's close to her co-stars," the source went on to say, adding, "She's been like that since 'Friends.' But there's nothing more going on."
At a press junket for "Scream 4" last week, Cox and her estranged husband, David Arquette, were flirting up a storm, sparking talk of reconciliation between the couple. Cox only added fuel to the fire when she told "Extra" at the event that Arquette was the "best he's ever looked. He's so cute!" and added with a smile, "Oh my God, I'm so proud of him."
