Justin Bieber was the man of the moment at the premiere of his 3D biopic "Never Say Never" Tuesday night in Los Angeles.
The red carpet was stacked with Hollywood's top teenage talent, including the singer's rumored girlfriend Selena Gomez, the Smith kids, and Miley Cyrus -- as well as older stars like Usher, "Glee's" Jane Lynch and the Black Eyed Peas' will.i.am -- who are probably considered to be positively ancient by Bieber's young fans!
Though he wouldn't confirm that he is indeed dating 18-year-old Selena Gomez, the "Baby" singer did give reporters on the red carpet a little love. When asked the million dollar question by E! Online, Bieber replied coyly, "She's one of my best friends."
And it sounds like he's not going to be dishing dirt any time soon. "Some things you just gotta keep to yourself." Gomez maintained her distance from Bieber on the red carpet, and when asked why, Justin replied that he was riding solo because he "wanted [tonight] to be about me and my movie."
Bieber was sporting a shorter version of his signature hairdo at the event, which we think makes him look more grown up. (And, is it just me, or has the pint-sized pop star had a bit of a growth spurt, too?) The singer, who turns 17 on March 1, has lately been experiencing the trials and tribulations of every teenage boy -- though he seems to have escaped the agonies of acne, Bieber's voice has finally started to break.
As a result, his boss, Island Def Jam Music Group chairman Antonio Reid, has hired a vocal coach to help his young star through the difficult time after experiencing the same drama with JBieb's mentor, Usher, back in 1994. Hopefully, Bieber will come through the transition with flying colors, just like Usher did!
