Not a bad way to spend the start of summer!
Ashley Greene and Vanessa Hudgens attended the Oakley Pro Bali / Learn To Surf event on Wednesday in Benoa, Bali, Indonesia.
The "Twilight" actress and "Spring Breakers" star spent the day taking surf lessons before getting out on the water to test out their new skills.
And it looks like they're quick learners! Both girls were photographed actually standing up on their boards.
After surfing, the real life pals also spent time hanging out on a yacht to get their tan on where Hudgens, 24, and Greene, 26, showed off their toned bikini bodies.

It looks like the girls had a blast at the beach during the second day of the event, which runs through June 29 and has the goal of raising awareness and money for Reef Check Foundation, a group committed to reef health and conservation.
Apparently, at some point Greene got a little too up close and personal with the reefs in Bali, posting a photo of some gashes on her leg:
While it looks like Greene is having a ball flying solo on her girls' getaway weekend, Hudgens has been accompanied by boyfriend Austin Butler.
