Who knew that Freddie Prinze Jr. was a real — ahem — Prinze in the kitchen? So much so, that Sarah Michelle Gellar took to Instagram on Wednesday to tell her followers that her silver-haired fox of a hubby has a new project up his chef's sleeves: he's releasing a cookbook next year. She also posted an adorable photo of the two of them in their immaculate kitchen.

"Please help me in congratulating my husband #freddieprinzejr on the announcement of his first cookbook #BackToTheKitchen coming in 2016 from #rodalebooks," wrote Gellar. "I am very proud to say that I have personally tasted every one of these amazing #recipes and will continue to. But now all of you will get to share in the amazing food from my absolute favorite chef."

So for those of you who have longed to experience Sarah Michelle Gellar and Freddie Prinze Jr.'s gastronomical life, this is your chance. No more living vicariously through FPJ's Twitter feed! Because judging by the looks of his account, the man knows his way around a kitchen. And who knows? It may be a preview of what to expect in Back to the Kitchen.

For instance, check out this meal. Prinze Jr. described his "#DinnerTime" as "fried lobster, fried brussels sprouts (yeah I did work) and root veggies." Try not to drool all over your computer at the thought of fried lobster.

And by the way, how do lamb chops sound to you? Consider this cookbook an alternative if you weren't particularly enthused about Alicia Silverstone's vegan cookbook.

Prinze told his followers he was clearly aiming to "#EatHealthy" when he posted this pic of salmon, roasted potatoes, and golden beats.

So, yeah, we can definitely be assured that this cookbook will have some healthy options, as Freddie called the meal below a "#HealthyDinner." He also wrote, "eat eat eat," so let's assume that's what we'll all be doing after utilizing his cookbook.

"Help yourselves," wrote Prinze Jr., before letting us all know what the aftermath of this dish would be. "#burp."

But be warned — according to Sarah Michelle Gellar, good meals yield messy kitchens. "You know a good meal was had when the kitchen looks like this," she wrote on Instagram. '#CasaPrinze #PrinzeKitchen." Stock up on sponges and wipes, folks — cleaning products are a chef's best friend.
