You thought Eva Mendes and Ryan Gosling were the only Hollywood couple with baby news today? Iron Man wouldn't stand for that.

Robert Downey Jr. revealed that he and his wife, Susan, are expecting their second child together in typically awesome RDJ fashion.

The actor also posted the following message on Facebook: "Um. I don't know if it's a 'man's world', but I'm certain women run it. Susan and I are therefore delighted to announce we are expecting a baby. Girl. November. rdj."

Susan gave birth to a son, Exton Elias, in February 2012.

The happy news comes on the heels of what has been a rough couple of weeks for the Downeys.

Robert's 20-year-old son Indio, his only child with ex-wife Deborah Falconer, was arrested in West Hollywood, California, on June 29. Indio was taken into custody on felony narcotics possession charges after the car he was a passenger in was pulled over. According to the Los Angeles Sheriff's Department, the narcotic in question was cocaine.

"Unfortunately there's a genetic component to addiction and Indio has likely inherited it," Robert — who has been sober since 2003 — said in a statement. "Also, there is a lot of family support and understanding, and we're all determined to rally behind him and help him become the man he's capable of being. We're grateful to the Sheriff's department for their intervention, and believe Indio can be another recovery success story instead of a cautionary tale."

After little Exton was born, RDJ explained on the Tonight Show With Jay Leno that fatherhood was different the second time around.

"Well, I find it easier," he admitted. "I'm not smoking pot [all the time], which [makes it] difficult when you're changing a diaper and you're stoned."

Here’s hoping Downey's little girl inherits his sense of humor.
