Caitlyn Jenner is proving to be just as social media savvy as her daughters.

She shared her first vintage photo with her more than 2.3 million followers just in time for this week's Throwback Thursday. The pic shows her son, Brandon, as a baby sitting in a high chair. "Happy birthday, Brandon @sprandoni! Love you. #TBT," she captioned it.

Brandon, who's turning 34, has been candid about the fact that growing up, his father wasn't around as much as he would've liked. There were times Brandon — whose mother is Linda Thompson — went two or three years without hearing from his dad. Caitlyn herself has expressed regret about her relationships with Brandon and siblings Brody, Cassandra, and Burt. She's admitted to being more focused on her youngest kids, Kylie and Kendall, and lived with her stepchildren Kim, Kourtney, Khloé, and Rob Kardashian for years.

"I have made a lot of mistakes raising the four Jenner kids," she confessed in the Vanity Fair issue that introduced her. "I had times not only dealing with my own issues but exes. [It was] very traumatic and there was a lot of turmoil in my life, and I wasn't as close to my kids as I should have been."

However, Brandon does seem to be hopeful about the future.

"This is the fourth quarter of [her] life," Brandon, who is expecting his first child, explained to the magazine. "But within our relationship this is the first quarter, the relationship that [she] has with the kids. Regardless of [Caitlyn's upcoming reality] show and all that stuff, there will be a fourth quarter of the relationship. And I envision the fourth quarter as having a 15- or 16-year-old daughter who knows her grandparent as 'Mapa' or whatever Dad wants to be, and loves that grandparent for who she is."

Did you hear that? Dad. People magazine reports that Brandon isn't being disrespectful by continuing to use that moniker.

"[Caitlyn] spoke to each of the kids separately and told them to take their time in getting used to this," a family friend told the mag. "She would prefer not to be called 'Bruce,' but told the kids that they could still call her 'Dad,' at least for now."

A Kardashian family source added, "They all still slip up and refer to Caitlyn as Bruce, or she as he, him, all that. It takes a lot of work to get it right."
