Yahoo Entertainment Miley Cyrus Dyes Her Hair Blue – Er – Platinum
It looks like Miley Cyrus has “something blue” for her upcoming nuptials to Liam Hemsworth!
The 20-year-old starlet made a major hair switch-up last week and dyed her bright blond locks a dark, steely shade of blue.
As usual, her bevy of fans had plenty to say about her new hue. Although the edgy new look is slightly Cookie Monster-esque, Miley is sticking to her story that she didn’t reach for the blue dye bottle. She took to her Twitter account Sunday night to set the record straight. “My hurrr ain't blue. That S--TS PLATINUM,” she wrote.
The “Party in the U.S.A.” songbird has gone through several hair transformations over the past year at the hands of her hairdresser Chris McMillan, often experimenting with different styles. The new color is just the latest change since she originally lopped off her long locks in August 2012, in favor of her spiky, cropped ‘do.
Whatever style or color she chooses, we like that the former “Hannah Montana” star is always willing to take a risk with her tresses.
But seriously, that’s blue, right?
