Malin Akerman is on cloud nine after becoming a first-time mom.
The "Rock of Ages" actress and her husband, Roberto Zincone, welcomed a son, Sebastian, on Tuesday. Soon after, the 34-year-old took to Twitter to share her baby joy.
"My husband and I welcomed our beautiful, healthy baby boy to this world this morning! Biggest joy of my life!!! #lovemykid," the Swedish-Canadian wrote.
That was followed by a name announcement – and a little more gushing, as she has every right to do.
"PS and his name is...Sebastian Zincone :))) Love him more than life itself!! #whatafeeling!!!"
The name Sebastian, which is of Greek origin, means "revered." According to the Social Security Administration, the name is also at its height of popularity right now, ranking No. 68 on the list of Top 100 baby boy names. So it makes sense that Akerman isn't the only new celeb parent who gave the name to her little one recently. In February, Amber Rose and Wiz Khalifa named their son Sebastian, though he goes by the superhip "Bash."
Akerman and Zincone started dating over a decade ago when they were in the band The Petalstones (she was the singer, he was the drummer) and they tied the knot in 2007. When she announced she was pregnant last September, she joked to E! News,“My husband and I have been talking about [starting a family] for the past 10 years that we’ve been together, so it’s about time."
