Madonna vs. Instagram: What Did the Material Girl Do to Violate the App’s Terms?

Has this girl gone too wild on social media?

Despite having only joined the social media photo sharing service Instagram a couple weeks ago, Madonna has already violated the Facebook-owned company’s Terms of Service, and received a threat to have her account shut down.

So, in typical rebellious Material Girl fashion, what did she do with the note she was sent from Instagram? She posted it, of course!

“Hello Madonna… It has come to our attention that your account on Instagram has violated our Community Guidelines,” the note began. “It is important to note that continuing to violate them may result in a disabled account, or discontinued access to Instagram, without warning."

It’s not clear which post (or, posts) of Madonna’s may have violated these terms – the raciest images currently up there are a pic that zooms in on her breasts and one that shows a bit of her butt (albeit, really not too much of it). Perhaps more likely to be the offending uploads are a couple of pics she has posted of Mexican artist Frida Kahlo, the rights to which she likely does not own.

Madge's most recently posted pics are those shown above featuring the star wearing an Altuzarra forest green poly-leather and mink cap-sleeve seamed "Tribeca" dress from the designer’s Fall/Winter 2013 collection to an 85th Academy Award After Party on Sunday.

omg! has reached out to Madonna's rep for any comment about the Instagram feud, but has not heard back.
